Escape to the mountains for spectacular scenery in safe, isolated comfort.

Just two hours from Cape Town the farm offers five beautifully furnished, self-catering cottages in the Groot Winterhoek Mountains. Relax in comfort with 100% percale cotton linen and fluffy towels, a fully stocked kitchen, an indoor fireplace for those cosy (and sometimes snowy) winter nights and an outside braai area so you can make the most of the spectacular scenery. Four of the cottages have private swimming pools, the fifth has a hot (or cold!) tub and there is pristine dam for general enjoyment. This was the owners’ private house which is now available for hire. It is comfortably furnished, has a generous covered patio, and looks out over a private pool onto the Olifantsrivier valley, some 15 kilometers below.

Protea

Set against a sandstone kopje, this cottage has two bedrooms, a separate kitchen, dining room and living room with a sofa bed. It also has a generous verandah with stunning views and a pool at the foot of the kopje 30m from the backdoor. It sleeps a maximum of seven people.

Pelargonium

This all wood cottage is nestled up against fynbos covered kopje teeming with dassies and birds. Grey Rhebok and klipspringer are often seen close by. The main bedroom opens onto an entertainment deck with stunning views over the private pool to the Olifants river valley.
